Most sportswear is made from entirely synthetic materials: polyester and nylon, petroleum-based fabrics, often without knowing the exact blend or how they have been finished.

At NOHI NATURAL, we deliberately choose natural, certified materials: 92% GOTS-certified organic cotton and 8% elastane, the smallest possible amount needed to ensure the fabric fits snugly against your skin. No vague sustainability jargon, but the exact percentage and the certification that proves it.

GOTS-certified organic cotton

GOTS stands for Global Organic Textile Standard. GOTS is the strictest global certification for organic textiles. It guarantees that a garment, from cultivation to production, meets strict environmental and social standards — without toxic chemicals and with fair labour conditions.

This means:

● No harmful pesticides or synthetic fertilisers.
● No toxic dyes or chemical finishes.
● Farmers, workers, and wearers are protected from chemical exposure.
● Organic farming contributes to healthier soil and ecosystems.
● A transparent supply chain with certified, ethical practices.

Our factory is GOTS-certified, from spinning, knitting and dyeing to sewing and packaging. Each batch is also separately certified. This ensures that not only the raw material, but the entire production process meets the same strict standards.

The fashion industry is one of the biggest polluters of water worldwide: the dyeing and treatment of textiles accounts for almost 20% of industrial water pollution. We therefore deliberately chose GOTS-certified organic cotton, grown without chemical fertilisers or pesticides. This is better for the soil, uses less water, and provides safer working conditions for the farming communities that cultivate it.

OEKO-TEX Standard 100 guarantees that a garment has been thoroughly tested for harmful chemicals, every component, from fabric to button. No toxic substances, safe for the skin.
